1 * Amla or Gooseberry *
The Indian gooseberry or amla, which contain vitamin C, is very beneficial for liver health. It is one of the important components of Chyawanpraash that has liver protective action.
Use: Consume it raw or it can be added in pieces to the salad and also or making a raitha of amla and curd. 4 - 5 gms of Indian gooseberry taken with water every day for 15 - 20 days, controlls the liver function.
2 * Papaya *
Make powder of dry papaya seeds.
Use: Take 1 tsp of papaya seeds powder with water daily in the morning for normal liver functioning.
3 * Radish *
One radish everyday in the diet improves the liver functioning and cures the liver diseases.
4 * Licorice *
Licorice cures liver problems like non - alcoholic fatty liver disease.
Use: Add the powder of licorice to boiling water and make tea. Steep it for a few minutes, strain the liquid and consume it.
5 * Cumon seeds *
Cumon seeds, is an excellent remedy to support liver health.
Mix 1 tsp of cumin seeds powder to a glass of butter milk and consume it in the morning to improve liver functioning.
