Remedies for reducing Belly Fats
1 - Ayurvedic Detox Tea
As per the tradition it is believed that the detoxification of body helps in breaking down fat.After detoxification the liver works better to metabolize fat.So prepare Ayurvedic Detox Tea every morning and sip it through out the day.
Use: First Boil 5 cups of water, add 1/2 tsp of cumin, coriander and fennel seeds to it and cover the jar while the water gets boiled. Then filter the tea and collect it in a thermos jar. During the whole day go on taking hot or warm sips of the tea.If you find it a strong tea then reduce the quantity of the ingradients to 50 %.
2 - Triphala churna
This is very effective Ayurvedic remedies for reduction of belly fat. Triphala is a combination of three herbs ie Amalaki, Haritaki and Bibhitaki. Amalaki,being a rich source of C vitamin is an excellent antioxidant which reduces the body inflammation. Haritaki, removes toxins from the body whereas Bibhitaki reduces accumulation of fat and fluids in your body.
Use: Prepare a mixture of 1/2 tsp of triphala powder by adding it in 1 cup of warm water. Consume this mixture 30 minutes before going to bed.Flaxseed powder may be used for added boost of antioxidant. Addition of psyllium fiber to the mixture helps in easy bowel movement and removes any toxins that may cling to your intestinal linings.
3 - Curry Powder
Curry powder contains all the tastes such as - sweet, salty, bitter, sour, astringent and pungent.Prepare the powder, store it and use it while cooking.It can also be sprinkled on salads and veggies. The Curry powder improves digestion and help in reducing the fat.
Use: Mix 5 cloves, 1/2 tsp cumin, 1 tsp fenugreek, 5 tsp coriander, 1/2 tsp mustard seeds, 1" cinnamon stick and 1 large bay leaf and grind well all the components..
Add turmeric powder later to the ground mixture. Store it to use it on your salads etc. Also use this curry powder in your gravies, curries and various other dishes.
4 - Aloevera Juice
Aloe vera is a fine natural antioxidant, which best to reduce the belly fat. If it is consumed regularly, it increases the metabolism thus reducing body fat. It also detoxifies your system and cleans the digestive system, reducing the weight. Since aloe vera has mild laxative properties, it should be taken in controlled quantities.
Use: Take half glass of tepid water. Mix 30 gms of aloe vera, 1 tsp honey, 3 gms of cumin seeds, 3gms of turmeric powder, 3gms haritiki powder and 3 gms of Tinospora cordifolia powder (guduchi).Mix it well and drink it in the morning on an empty stomach.Do not eat anything for next 1 hour.
5 - Curry Leaves
Curry leaves which are anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, are best for fat burning. They improve the functioning of stomach and small intestine.Curry leaves also help the fat-producing hormone called estrogen. Add curry leaves to food items like - gravies, sauces etc. Tea can also be made with the use of curry leaves.Fresh curry leaves can be chewed since they are good for reducing LDL - bad cholesterol and increasing good HDL - cholesterol. However the use should be in controll since it has laxative properties.
Use: Prepare a juice of 10 fresh curry leaves and mix juice with a glass of buttermilk. Have this buttermilk post lunch or dinner.
6 - Fenugreek (Methi)
Fenugreek seeds, high on fibers, are very effective fat burners. Also they are low in carbohydrates and calories hence fenugreek is useful in lowering belly fat.
Use: In a glass of water, soak 1 tsp of fenugreek seeds for whole night. Add seeds to tepid and consume in the morning on an empty stomach.One can also make tea of these seeds as follows - Pour hot water over 1 tsp of fenugreek seeds. Steep for some time, strain and have it after breakfast, lunch or dinner.
7 - Cinnamon (Dalchini)
Cinnamon is very effective in controlling the insulin which leads to weight loss. It boosts body metabolism and burns the fat without excessive exercise.
Use: Mix 1 tsp. of cinnamon powder to bewerages like - coffee, tea or any other which is consumed during the day.
Add cinnamon powder to cereal, apply on toast,salad etc.Take a glass of warm milk and add 1 tsp of cinnamon powder to it, then have it before going to bed.
8 - Honey
Honey is traditionally practised remedy for loosing weight and fat.
Use: Take a medium glass and fill it with hot water. Add the juice of 1 lemon and 1 tablespoon of honey to it. Consume this on empty stomach on waking up in the morning. Follow this regularl to get best results.
9 - Ginger
Honey dissolves the fat whereas ginger and pepper increase the metabolic rate.
Use: Mix ginger and water and next add honey and pepper to it. Heat it for about 5 minutes.
